Everything is top notch and I love how it is Bluetooth and can even be paired with my Windows 10 64 Bit Pro Windows 10 laptop and PC. This is multi platform and can be used on both Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows 10 as noted above. As expected, the fit in the hands is very comfortable and natural. There is nothing sharp and it even has a textured grip. In terms of range, we use this approx. 12’ from the console and get a perfect communication. (Also rated to have twice the wireless range compared to the normal Xbox One controllers. You can even plug in a set of earbuds or headphones as there is a 3.5mm audio port built into the controller. So considering this was $10 bucks more than a basic OEM controller, I was very happy. And lastly there is the amazing color scheme. My wife loves this and we do not have to worry about those stick on skins or anything.Note – I was considering a dock, however, all the reviews had a high number of people reporting you had to be very careful to align it just right or it won’t charge. Or some chargers do not turn off when the controller is charged which will shorten the life span of your battery. I have made a final call to just buy more rechargeable AA Eneloop batteries which last very long and have a higher mAh at 2550 and swap them when they are low. Easy, only one charger to plug in and no worries about docks and wondering if they will charge correctly.Would certainly recommend and as with all my reviews, I will update this if this develops any issues with ongoing use. This controller feels exactly as the stock controller for Xbox One. It is an Xbox One S type controller, which means you'll be taking advantage of the bluetooth updates microsoft made. The only difference is that these custom skin controllers do not have the textured finish the original one has. For some people, it might become slippery.
I got this for PC gaming with Steam. The Bluetooth connection is very reliable and almost never disconnect during my game. I love how this is compatible with Windows and how good looking this is. If you're not using this with the Xbox like me, you might need to get a couple of add-on products if you want to use the full features. Example, you will need the Wireless Adapter to make use of the 3.5mm jack on the controller. Also, the AA batteries are not rechargable so you will need to replace them or get rechargable batteries. To set up, you will need a microUSB cable to connect to your PC and update your controller's firmware by downloading Xbox accessories from the Microsoft store. (Tips: if your microUSB cable doesn't work, you're most likely using the charging cable. Try another one that does data exchange)It's BEAUTIFUL. Just Beautiful.I still honestly have not figured out how to connect my headset to it yet, but otherwise it is hands down one of the better controllers I've used. If you are sick of mushy D-pad, have no fear my friends, because this time around the D-Pad is accurate, and has a good tactile feel.I use this controller on my PC, so I'm not sure how it goes down on the xboxone, but there are drivers for this thing to update. The only time I've had connection issues is when the battery is low, but that is to be expected.I've played a many good hours with this too, and so far I haven't noticed any unusual wear problems, nothing squeaks horribly (knock on wood) and the analog sticks still seem to be performing correctly. (none of this moving when you're not touching it problems)And to finalize this, The pink is perfect in my book. It doesn't feel too gawdy or like a childish pink, the buttons were a good accent too.If I could, I'd buy all the fading colors. *sigh*I bought this controller for my PC and while it boasts PC support, it has a fair share of problems. It's a pain to sync sometimes to the point you have to manually remove it from your Windows 10 list of devices and re-add it. This seems especially to be a problem which you're trying to use any form of voice communication while using the controller. I've tried using a microphone connected to the PC directly, a mic plugged in to the controller, and different models of mics; this controller tries to take over voice comm (ending in no voice, or extremely weirdly modulated sound being sent and received) or just refused to communicate with the computer. This controller feels great, though. It's responsive and dense in a way the 360 controllers weren't. The Dawn Shadow color I got also looks amazing. Hopefully PC support gets up to par soon. The Dawn Shadow Xbox One S controller feels like quality when I hold it, and the snazzy magenta and pink is gorgeous. While I don't own an Xbox One, this controller is quite good for PC games that support controller input. If you want to play this wired, it uses a micro USB cable. It won't work with some cheaper cables, but you don't necessarily need to get the USB Play and Charge kit, either. Also, you don't need to put in batteries if you're playing wired, making it a bit lighter. I've found that, when wired, it works on Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu, and this is how I'd play with it, anyway. If you want to play this wireless, it does support Bluetooth, but Microsoft decided to do what Microsoft does best and (officially) make it only work on Windows 10 (with Anniversary Update or later). However, I've also gotten it to work in games on a MacBook Air running macOS 10.11. Steam Link also supports it. I'm not sure about Windows 7 or 8, so you may need to do your own research before buying this if you want to connect your controller over Bluetooth on Windows 7 or 8.Overall, it's a great controller with great build quality. If you can still grab a hold of this controller and you like the look, I'd do it. Otherwise, it's the same as any other Xbox One S controller minus the colors. Video Games => Xbox One => Accessories
